By taking advantage of the Flash functionality that is now built in to Photoshop (as well as Illustrator), you can generate and process Flash-based content without a lot of complicated ActionScripting. Which is a great thing, since Flash has become the standard for creating interactive online content.
In this workshop, we'll explore how to create a design in Photoshop and then transfer that layered file into Flash. All the while, we'll maintain complete control of the layer order without losing the integrity of the original design. We will also discuss importing other vector art by utilizing Illustrator's enhanced Flash features as well as importing video and motion graphics from programs such as After Effects. From there, we’ll wrap up the content, bringing the elements to life with some basic ActionScripting in Flash. Finally, we'll discuss the preparation of the Flash file for the Web as well as integration into your Dreamweaver workflow.
This workshop is designed for the aspiring Web designer, graphic designer, production artist, or anyone who needs to know the basics of Flash to simply and easily create interactive content using Flash and Photoshop.
