Toby Reyelts

Toby Reyelts codes for food at Google. His work is primarily centered on the performance-oriented aspects of Google Web Toolkit—making GWT run fast and GWT programs run even faster. He generally touches benchmarking, profiling, hosted mode, and the compiler. He spends a lot of time deep in the JVM and has written open source software to help others avoid that kind of pain (Retroweaver, Jace). As Toby grows older (and sometimes wiser), he gets more excited about the different ways he can treat programs as data.
